Apologetics – How To Defend What We Should Believe
Believe Bible is True

Why Should We Believe That Our Bible is True?

1 Peter 1:22-2:3
Since you have purified your souls
in obeying the truth through the Spirit
in sincere love of the brethren,
love one another fervently with a pure heart,
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
24 because
“All flesh is as grass,
And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers,
And its flower falls away,
25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word,
that you may grow thereby,
3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.(NKJV)

Get Our Bible

How Did We Get Our Bible and How Did God Keep it Safe From Errors?

For most people, the way that all those scrolls Moses, the prophets, and the Apostles wrote as God inspired them: is quite hard to understand and a bit mysterious. John takes to the marker board and draws out the pathway that God used to get His Word to us. He answers how God kept the Word in the CUSTODIANSHIP of the Apostles & Prophets. How Christ put His seal of Approval on the OT Scriptures; and how He gave the Apostles the seal of authenticity on the NT. If you want your mind challenged with truth, and your heart stirred with confidence: this session in God’s Word is for you!

The Bible has probably never been under more attack than today. A generation is arising around us that doesn’t know the Bible well enough to defend it, and the secularists have taken the high ground and are winning in their attack on the trustworthiness of God’s Word

As a starting point for Apologetics, or giving a reasoned answer to those that question our faith in Christ, we need to affirm what God has said about His Word, the Bible.

Each of us would do well if we just decided to have the same view of Scripture as Jesus Christ had: Jesus had the highest view of Scripture.
