It might surprise you to know that Jesus said more about money than anybody else in the Bible, and He said more about money than any other single subject. Money is an index to our character. It is a measure. It is a manifestation of the heart. We cannot fully survey everything that Jesus said about money obviously, but, briefly, this class will put you in touch with the most important things that He said which help us to understand the importance of money and how it is that measure of our spiritual life. Here’s what God explains in Proverbs about Money, Possessions & Eternity.
God owns all things.
He blesses us with earthly possessions and waits to see what we do with them. He wants us to look up, say thanks, and ask how HE wants us to proceed.
That’s a summary of God, Money & Me.
Proverbs 8:18-21 Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. 20 I traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, 21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.
